Remember that old game we used to play before the playstation was invented when we used mirrors to flash lights in each others faces? Why did we stop playing those? The fault lies absolutely with the apathetic youth that has become entirely consumer-driven in their detachment. But even in the face of ignominious neglect light remains resolute in its purity. The physics has not changed. Yeah. Physics. Although your teacher probably didn’t tell you it’s more fun than it sounds!
Think of all those cellophane plastic bags your mother has carefully stashed under the bed for future, highly improbable, use. All you need to is crush them. Crumble them in every way possible, staple them together, and hook them onto the sunniest window in your house. What you see is a glittering web of light on your wall. The mesmerising effect looks best when a quivering hand shakes the juvenile curtain.
You can experiment by placing a red and golden lamp near the curtain. Or you can just let the sun’s rays fall on your lamp. The resulting photography is enough to kick start your day smiling.
